I have been influenced by people in my life. Some of them are singers, some are politicians or social media influencers, others are actors or business pioneers. But the person I really admire is India's ace shuttler, PV Sindhu. She is 23 and hails from Hyderabad. She was the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal. India is a country where cricket and cricketers overpower other sports and sports personalities but when she brought laurels to the nation, she became a media sensation. She was interviewed by every news channel, magazine and newspaper. I became interested in her and started reading her interviews and watching her matches. She is called a shining star of Indian Badminton. Following her footsteps, many girls started playing badminton. I closely follow her on Instagram and other social media platforms. She has recently opened an academy to train financially backward children and help them make a future in badminton. She is also a great supporter of animal rights and therefore, she was appointed PETA's ambassador. I am very inspired by her life and the way she managed to achieve great success. I really wish to meet her one day.
