Describe a time when you gave advice to someone
It is a common practice all over the world to seek and give advice. People like to include their friends and elders while making important decisions of their lives. Here, I would like to talk about such incident that happened last year when my cousin called me to seek career advice. After finishing his high school, he was confused about his future. His parents were pressurizing him to continue with science but he did not want to. He called me and asked about various future perspectives in different careers. I inquired about his interests and hobbies. As I already knew that he had a great interest in cooking, I suggested him to opt for a profession course to become a chef. At first, he was reluctant to talk to his parents about it but I convinced them citing different examples of famous chefs. I also advised him to acquire his education abroad to get maximum exposure and experience. With my help, he was able to secure a seat in a reputed college of Australia and now working as an assistant chef in a reputed restaurant. Whenever he calls me, he expresses his gratitude and happiness for choosing what he loves. This makes me realized that I gave him the right advice and guidance that he needed.
