IELTS Cue Card- A School You Went in Childhood

Describe A School You Went To in Your Childhood

  • Where was it?
  • What was it like?
  • What you learnt there?
  • How you felt about it?

I studied only in one school from class 1 to 12 and it is named St. Joseph convent School. It is a renowned institution established in 1950. It is located in the model town are of Ludhiana city. The school building was massive with 100 rooms that could accommodate around 4000 students at a time. The main school building was surrounded with lush green gardens and variety of trees. All the rooms were spacious and airy. Adjacent to the school building was a playground with various sports facilities. The school also had an indoor games area for playing board games. The school also had science and computer labs for imparting practical training but I did not like attending science practical because the smell of chemicals made me dizzy. All the staff members used to wear saris and looked professional. The teachers were expert in their subjects and holistic growth of every child was focused on. The school has taught me all the basic subjects of the curriculum but above all, I was taught to be disciplined, responsible and respectful to all. I can never forget the contribution of my school in my life.
