IELTS Cue Card- A Park or Place Where You Walk

Describe A Place Where You Often Walk/ A Park You Visited

  • Where is this place?
  • How often do you go there?
  • Why do you do there for a walk?
Being occupied with work and household responsibilities, it is very hard to spare time for the activities I like but I never give up on walking as it is one of the simplest method of staying fit and healthy. There is a park in the vicinity of my home and I visit this park every day to talk a walk. In the evening, after finishing all my work (after dropping my kids at the craft class) I drive to this park. The park is spread in 1000 sq. feet of area and it has more than 300 trees of different varieties.  It is maintained by municipal corporation of the city. There is a pavement of bricks dedicated to the people for walking. A separate path is constructed for cyclists so that the people can walk being uninterrupted. I like to walk in the park as the greenery is very refreshing and cool wind rejuvenates my tired mind. Also, the chirping birds produce soothing music and I feel relaxed and pacified. I spend around an hour there and see people doing yoga, exercise, playing games. Old people usually sit at the benches and talk. All these things offer me an escape from the monotonous life.
